Lucky for all of us, shops throughout Downtown Tulsa have perfected hot chocolate (or created their own unique spin on it). We’ve rounded up a few hot chocolate options for you to try this holiday season. You can try just one, but we suggest trying them all!
Black Wall Street Liquid Lounge
Black Wall Street Liquid Lounge features the Sweet Willie J, their take on hot chocolate topped with whipped cream and drizzled with caramel and mocha sauce. Located on historic Greenwood Avenue, Black Wall Street Liquid Lounge aims to recreate the experience of Black Wall Street while creating a new, sustainable culture.
The Mark at the Mayo
The Mark, located on the first floor of the beautiful Mayo Hotel, features both regular hot chocolate and white hot chocolate. Treat yourself to a little staycation and they’ll deliver it right to your room.
Foolish Things Coffee Company
Foolish Things Coffee Company has had hot chocolate on their menu since they opened their doors 10 years ago. Try it yourself and quickly see why it’s such a crowd favorite. But if you’re in the mood for an extra special treat, try their new Candy Cane Mocha.
Triangle Coffee
Triangle Coffee takes the idea of hot chocolate and kicks it up a notch--in the best way. This season, look for their Toasted S’mores Latte complete with a toasted marshmallow on top. This drink is quintessential winter in a cup.
Topeca Coffee
Topeca Coffee, with three convenient locations throughout Downtown, will soon launch their seasonal menu. In the past, cocoa connoisseurs have enjoyed a spiced mocha made with mexican chile and kyya dark chocolate and a white peppermint mocha in addition to traditional hot chocolate.
Notion
Stop by one of Downtown Tulsa’s most unique coffee shops, Notion, to enjoy their house-made mint mocha or mint steamer holiday drinks. Located underground, Notion features delicious drinks, a healthy food menu, and rotating art in their gallery space.
Sona
Tucked away in a cozy space on 1st Street, Sona Coffee has a seasonal menu featuring hot chocolate, lattes, and more. Enjoy Christmas in a cup, peppermint mochas, and flavorful lattes to warm up on a chilly day of Downtown activities.
